Disconnected: The Great Disconnect - Week 2

In order to understand the disconnect that exists in all areas of our lives, then we have to go back to the beginning. In the garden, the serpent appealed to our emotion and our desires in order to get us to disobey God's commands. In a moment of challenge, Eve and Adam missed a chance to take this appeal to a higher power. The serpent convinced them of God's intent and they never felt the need to inquire of God until it was too late. The key to overcoming our disconnect with God is to restore the lines of communication and allow Him to have a say in what is good and evil instead of leaning on our own understanding.
